Tixel

You: You’re all about the live vibes, just like the rest of us here. You don’t just crunch numbers—you bring data to life with insights that drive action. With a passion for learning and curiosity for what’s next, you thrive on getting things done. You’re extremely technically savvy, have a knack for cross collaboration, and are ready to tackle any challenge.

Us: A rapidly growing ticket marketplace that is making waves, a huge amount of positive impact and changing the game in the live entertainment space. We’re on a mission to become the world’s most trusted live event marketplace.

Mission:

You’ll be the magic behind the scenes working with our Head of Marketplace Experience and working closely with our UK Partnerships Team. This role is more than just a job; it’s your chance to ensure that Tixel’s operations run as smooth as your favourite track, enhancing the experiences of fans and organisers alike. If you’re all about the details, love a fast-paced beat, and live for crafting those perfect event vibes, then you’re the star we’re looking for.

The Gig:

  • Event Setup, Maintenance, and Technical Troubleshooting: Assist in setting up and maintaining events by ensuring accurate categories, prices, and integrations, while using your technical expertise to troubleshoot operational challenges and maintain seamless system performance.
  • Innovate: Document and report on what’s working and what’s not to help drive improvements, while proactively taking ownership of projects and identifying opportunities to enhance operations with minimal supervision.
  • Data Dive: Unearth insights from our data, identify trends, and help guide our strategy. Your analyses will be our compass.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Be the link between product, development, and partnership teams to support troubleshooting, improve processes, and ensure smooth event operations.
  • Partner Engagement: Work closely with organisers to ensure seamless integrations, handle ad hoc requests, and assist with event-day operations.

What you bring:

  • Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: You’re quick to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, optimise event setups, and ensure smooth integrations without skipping a beat.
  • Detail-Oriented Organiser: Precision is your game. You excel at managing event categories, pricing, and configurations, ensuring accuracy and consistency every time.
  • Analytical Thinker: You have a knack for diving deep into data, identifying patterns and trends, and turning insights into actionable strategies to improve our operations and guide decision-making. Confidence with Excel and/or Google Sheets is a massive plus.
  • Proactive Innovator: You don’t wait for things to happen—you make them happen. You take initiative in identifying operational gaps, implementing improvements, and driving projects forward with minimal guidance.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear, professional communication is second nature to you. You can effectively liaise across teams—whether it’s collaborating with product developers or partnering with event organisers—to solve issues, share insights, and ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment, bridging the gap between various teams and partners, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of event operations.
  • Customer-Focused Mindset: You understand the importance of delivering a high-quality experience to event organisers and fans, taking care of ad hoc requests with ease and assisting with any event-day challenges.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • You’ll be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy team aligned with the love of music and live events
  • We work hard, but we have fun. Otherwise, what’s the point?
  • You will have true ownership over your area of responsibility, and your input will be pivotal to Tixel’s success. In turn, you’ll have a real impact on people and the live events industry
  • We’re committed to building a team that embraces diverse perspectives and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
  • We’re proud of the fact we are family-friendly and have a flexible work environment with our HQ based in Melbourne, Australia, and a growing team in our London Office.
  • You’ll get an extra personal day off every month
  • We offer a monthly ticket allowance
  • We will invest in your development with access to a ‘level-up’ allowance and make it our priority to help you achieve your career objectives.

  • Feeling like you don’t tick every box? Stop right there! You’re probably selling yourself short. We’re on the hunt for hidden gems, so throw your hat in the ring and let’s see what you’ve got.
  • Here at Tixel, we believe that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) is key to achieving our mission, which means we are dedicated to making our hiring fair, unbiased and inclusive.
