Buenos Aires Arena renamed to Movistar Arena

Latin America gets its third Movistar Arena, as the telecomms company signs a naming-rights deal with ASM Global’s Buenos Aires Arena

Telecommunications giant Movistar has signed a naming-rights deal with ASM Global-operated Buenos Aires Arena (15,000-cap.). The arena is the third South American venue to take Movistar’s name, following similar partnerships with arenas in Santiago, Chile and Bogotá, Colombia.

Argentine singer Tini Stoessel marked the opening of the new arena on 1 November, which was free-to-enter for all Movistar customers that registered for tickets via Club Movistar.
