Sacha Lord firm asked to repay £400k Covid grant

Arts Council England says it is "seeking to recover" the money after making additional checks "in light of new information"

A £400,000 Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) grant awarded to a business part-owned by Greater Manchester’s night time economy adviser Sacha Lord has been withdrawn following an Arts Council England (ACE) probe.

The £1.57 billion CRF was launched by the British government in 2020 to help the UK’s arts and culture sector weather the impact of Covid.
