Spain’s SGAE condemns promoter in royalties dispute
BIME and Bilbao BBK Live organiser Last Tour previously criticised the collection society’s 8.5% live rate as “abusive”

Spanish collecting society SGAE has pulled out of BIME after accusing organiser Last Tour of “systematic non-payment of copyright royalties” in the latest chapter of a long-running dispute.
SGAE has released a joint statement on behalf of the music publishing and authoring sector condemning the promoter, in the midst of BIME’s Bilbao leg, which runs from 28-31 October. Last Tour has previously criticised Spain’s 8.5% live tariff as “abusive”.
