Spain’s Mad Cool festival reveals €50.5m economic impact
Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty One Pilots & Nick Cave headline the Madrid event's tenth anniversary next summer

Mad Cool generated economic benefits of €50.5 million for the Spanish economy after pulling in 162,000 fans across three days at this year’s event, according to its organisers.
A new study conducted by consultancy firm Metyis shows that €36.7m benefited the Madrid region – including €19m from foreign festivalgoers – compared to €13.8m for the rest of Spain.
The budget for Mad Cool, which was headlined by Muse, Nine Inch Nails and Olivia Rodrigo this past July, was €21m in 2025, according to…
