Book More Women restructures, aims to address gender inequality

The organisation, set up to tackle gender inequality in the music industry, is “moving from awareness to action” with a new funding structure

Gender equity organisation Book More Women has laid out its intentions for “a new chapter” as it aims for non-profit status.

Set up by Abbey Carbonneau in 2018 to address systemic and organisational gender inequality in the music business, Book More Women says it is changing its structure as it relaunches as a fiscally sponsored project of non-profit technology company Fractured Atlas.
