Boomtown levels up hydrogen-powered stage offering

The UK event will scale up its renewably energised stage to a 20,000-capacity iteration, in partnership with GeoPura

The UK’s Boomtown festival is scaling up its hydrogen-powered stage offerings with HYDRO XL, which boasts a 150% capacity increase from the debut iteration.

After last year’s success with the 8,000-capacity HYDRO stage, organisers have partnered with GeoPura to develop a “bigger, bolder and re-engineered” 20,000-cap main-stage offering for 2026. Skrillex, Four Tet, and Floating Points are among the names of artists set to perform on HYDRO XL.
