Influential committee of UK MPs urge competition investigation into live sector

Competition authority tells IQ it is "giving active and careful consideration to undertaking markets work in this area”

The UK House of Commons Business and Trade Committee have published a report saying they are “alarmed by a ‘climate of fear'” in the country’s live music industry, and urged the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigate potential monopolistic behaviour by Live Nation.
