Three festival have begun their bid to reclaim ticket money they allege is owed to them after ticketer ceased trading last week

Three Irish festivals have filed an affidavit in an attempt to recover ticket money from tickets.ie, which ceased operations suddenly last week and which is now appointing liquidators.

Meath’s Rockathon Festival, Leitrim’s Cowboys and Heroes Festival, and Donegal’s Rory Gallagher Festival jointly filed court documents on 8 June, after each held what the documents call “successful” events over the weekend of 29-31 May.
