The Country Music Association (CMA) has named Brittany Schaffer as its next chief executive officer, to succeed Sarah Trahern, who is retiring after 13 years at the helm. She joins the CMA from her role as dean of Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business.
