‘Long-term security’: MS Dockville announces Hamburg site extension to 2030

The news secures the event's 20th anniversary next year, with organisers saying the harbour and industrial site is 'inextricably linked' to the festival's identity

Hamburg-based urban festival MS Dockville has welcomed the “long-term planning security” of a site extension until 2030 at its Wilhelmsburg Elbe Island location, after drawing 40,000 fans to its 19th annual edition.

Organisers said the extension at the urban site, just ten minutes’ journey from Hamburg Central Train Station, secures the location for next year’s event, already announced as 20th anniversary edition of the event.
