Victoria expands festival funding initiative with $640k round

The Australian state of Victoria is expanding its grant funding for music festivals, with the third round of its Live Music Festivals Fund set to total over A$640,000 (€391,700) across 16 events.

Delivered in partnership with non-profit Music Victoria, the funding is intended to create opportunities for artists, boost local economies, and draw audiences to the southeastern state, which includes major cities Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, and Bendigo.
