Brazil ups consumer protections with sweeping ticketing reforms

The decree hits both primary and secondary markets as the government clamps down on speculative practices and bot activity

Brazil’s government has issued sweeping reforms to ticket sales in the country, boosting its consumer protection efforts within both the primary and secondary markets by ushering in price and resale transparency, curbing deceptive and speculative practices, and outlawing mass ticket acquisitions by bots.
