Lila Live Academy looks to boost backstage careers for South Asian talent
The program offers an eight-week production training course followed by 48 paid placements for successful applicants

Less than a week remains for applications to Live Academy, a new UK-based new nationwide support scheme designed to build routes into live music production for South Asian talent, launched this month by non-profit Lila.
Funded by Arts Council England’s Supporting Grassroots Music fund, Live Academy aims to select twelve participants aged 18–30 to complete an eight‑week evening production course this autumn, taught by working industry professionals. The application window closes on 28 September.
