Construction underway for two UK arenas

Both Cardiff's 16,500-capacity venue and Bristol's 19,500-capacity YTL Arena have entered the next phase, and are expected to open in 2028

Workers have broken ground on both Cardiff’s 16,500-capacity venue and Bristol’s 19,500-capacity YTL Arena, symbolising a new phase for the delayed projects.

It’s a step forward for Cardiff’s long-awaited indoor arena, developed by Cardiff Council in partnership with a Live Nation and Robertson Property consortium.

Slated to open in 2028, the venue is expected to attract more than 1 million visitors to the area annually as the Welsh capital vies to become an entertainment destination.
