The Albanian government is throwing its weight behind a Kanye West show, with plans to purpose-build a temporary 60,000-capacity stadium to welcome the controversial artist on 11 July.

Government officials, including the country’s Prime Minister Edi Rama, have publicly supported the initiative in an effort to attract other global stars and tourists to the country.
