Ticketmaster confirms around 350 layoffs

The cuts come across 'various functions', with the firm prioritising fewer initiatives - in engineering, product, and design

Ticketmaster has laid off approximately 350 staff across its operation, in favour of bringing more of its software development in-house and focussing on “fewer initiatives”, the company has confirmed.

The locations affected by the staff trimming are not clear, although the ticketing giant said the intention is to bolster its engineering, product, and design divisions.
