Radio 1’s Big Weekend wrapped up its 2026 edition yesterday (24 May) with a headline set from Olivia Dean in its return to Sunderland, drawing around 100,000 fans to Herrington Country Sunday Park for three days of pop, electronic, and homegrown artist showcases.
Dean’s appearance on the bill had helped the Sunday of the festival be the earliest to sell out, with the final tickets being snapped up in early April. The singer is currently embarked on her The Art of Loving tour…
