Conference news: Music Cities Convention confirms final wave of speakers

In IQ’s latest conference round-up, the Music Cities Convention last week confirmed the final wave to complete its lineup of speakers for its 2026 event.
The full programme consists of over 60 speaker from six continents and more than 20 countries for what organisers called “the world’s leading gathering on music and cities”. Organised by Sound Diplomacy, the conference explores the intersection of music, cities, and sustainable development.
This remit will see the conference host events including ‘Everywhere Music City: Building Resilient Ecosystems Outside the Centre, presented the Center for Music Ecosystems.
The final wave of speakers includes Nadine Shah (musician and advocate), Naomi McMahon (Universal Music Group), Sam Ryder (Director of Concert Hall Development, Legends Global), Sarah Wall (PPL), Samuel Nichols (Music Local, Leeds), and…
