‘Plug and play’ production package key to British Airways ARC proposition

As British Airways ARC approaches opening night, AEG Presents' Lucy Noble tells IQ how it aims to reduce costs for touring acts

AEG Presents’ new upcoming London venue British Airways ARC will save touring productions time and money with its “plug and play” lighting and sound capabilities, the company has said, as the new performance space prepares for opening night on 16 June.

Speaking to media at a preview tour of the venue, AEG Presents senior vice president of UK venues Lucy Noble told IQ the venue’s technical specification is a major part of how the 3,800-cap space will vie for concerts in a crowded field of mid-sized London venues.
