Frankfurt arena project takes major step forward
Populous has been awarded the design contract for the 15,200-capacity venue, to be located next to the Deutsche Bank Park stadium

Frankfurt’s P9 multi-purpose arena project has taken a notable step forward with the appointment of venue leader Populous as the 15,200-capacity space’s lead designer.
The company behind the proposed arena, Sportpark Stadion Frankfurt (SSF), launched a Europe-wide tender for the facility’s general planning services back in February, with Populous beating four other shortlisted bidders.
