Ibiza officials mulling island-wide ban on future club and venue licenses

The proposal forms part of the island's Tourism Areas Intervention Plan, which is currently being drafted and which will take effect in 2027

Ibizan authorities have proposed plans for an island-wide ban on new venue licenses as part of a new Tourism Areas Intervention Plan (PIAT). The plan is set for approval in the coming weeks as the existing framework for the island’s tourism regulations expires at the end of 2026.
