ATG Entertainment acquired by Ari Emanuel’s Mari in €5bn deal

The WME Group chairman will fold in the global venue, production, and ticketing player into the new company's growing portfolio of live offerings

WME Group chairman Ari Emanuel will acquire UK-based entertainment firm ATG Entertainment through his events company, Mari, in a reportedly multi-billion-dollar deal.

ATG operates a total of 70 venues across the UK, US, Germany, and Spain, primarily in the theatre realm, with its global business also spanning production and ticketing. Earlier this year, the company launched a dedicated live branch, called ATG Live, in the US market.
