“Moments when culture makes politics possible”
Outside of running an agency, much of my time is spent fundraising and campaigning. The most ambitious event I’ve been involved with was Together for Palestine (T4P) at OVO Arena Wembley on 17 September this year.
Anyone who has worked arenas knows when a show carries its own weight. T4P did. Founded by Brian Eno, Own The Space, and produced by Kim Chappell (Chappell Productions), with hundreds working behind the scenes, the concept was clear: in the midst of what the UN Commission of Inquiry has declared genocide and a humanitarian crisis, the aim was to centre Palestinian artistry and testimony, raise substantial funds for Palestinian charities in Gaza via Choose Love, and stage a night able to hold both grief and hope –…
