Wickerman Festival 2016 cancelled
The Scottish festival, headlined in 2015 by Example, Squeeze, The Waterboys and Tom Odell, will be back next year

There will be no Wickerman Festival this year. The Scottish festival, held near the village of Dundrennan, near Kirkcudbright, was scheduled for 22 and 23 July but had yet to announce a line-up. Example, Julian Cope, Squeeze, Tom Odell and The Waterboys headlined in 2015.
Wickerman Festival was founded in 2001 by Jamie Gilroy, who was found dead in December 2014 after being found at his farm in Dunbrennan with severe head injuries believed to have been caused by a firearm.
