Non-English language shows now 30% of Live Nation’s top 50 tours

CFO Joe Berchtold told investors this week that the growth is forcing a focus on the arena infrastructure gap in nearly two thirds of its top 75 city touring markets

Live Nation CFO Joe Berchtold has revealed that non-English language shows now make up 30% of Live Nation’s top 50 global tours, compared to only 8% before the pandemic.

 

Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia and Technology Conference on 9 September, Berchtold told Goldman Sachs analyst Stephen Laszczyk that “it’s not going to be that long until I’m sitting here saying and now over half of our artists are not U.S., U.K. English-speaking artists”.
