ASM Europe EVP John Sharkey to step down
Sharkey, who joined ASM Global predecessor SMG in 2014, will leave the business at the end of 2021 for a “change of direction”

John Sharkey, executive vice-president of European operations for leading venue operator ASM Global, is leaving the company after seven years. Sharkey – who joined ASM’s predecessor, SMG, in 2014 – gave his notice in February and will stay on until December.
He was appointed ASM Global’s EVP for Europe in late 2019, following the completion of the merger between SMG and AEG Facilities.
