Düsseldorf Open Air Park clears final hurdle

After a major setback earlier this month, the 80,000-capacity venue has finally been given the green light by local authorities

The final hurdle for Düsseldorf’s controversial Open Air Park venue has been cleared by the city council. Venue developers D.Live and local promoter Concert Team announced the new “plug-and-play” 80,000-cap open-air venue in February, promising a “new era” for outdoor events in Germany.
