Indian state launches concert tourism policy

The Indian state of Assam has launched an official concert tourism policy in an effort to position itself as a major stop on the international touring circuit.

The state’s government plans to develop the entertainment infrastructure in the cities of Guwahati, Jorhat and Dibrugarh, having approved the policy in its annual budget in May.
