Germany’s Rocco del Schlacko to end in 2025

The festival has run for more than quarter of a century but organiser Presented for People says this year's edition will be its last

Germany’s Rocco del Schlacko will take place for the last time in 2025, organisers have confirmed.

The independent festival, which launched in 1999, will bow out following its 7-9 August event in Püttlingen, Saarland, which will feature acts such as KIZ, Yungblud, Contra K, I Prevail, Enter Shikari, 01099, Tream and UFO361.

Thilo Ziegler of promoter Presented for People blamed the changing nature of the live business for the decision, saying the 17,000-cap event faces being “crushed” by larger competitors if it continues beyond this year.
