The latest batch of appointments and promotions in the live music industry includes movement at Liberty Media, the NEC Group, PRG, Olympia Events, Togather, All Things Live Sweden, and TEG Dainty.

Live Nation’s largest shareholder, Liberty Media Corporation, has announced long-standing chairman of the board John C. Malone will step down and transition to chairman emeritus.
Liberty Media vice chair Robert “Dob” Bennett will take over as chairman, while Liberty Global CEO Mike Fries will become chair of the telecommunications arm. The changes come into effect on 1 January 2026.
