Ticketmaster bans use of multiple accounts after FTC lawsuit

Live Nation's EVP corporate and regulatory affairs Dan Wall has outlined the policy change in a letter to US senators

Ticketmaster has pledged to ban users from operating more than one account on the platform in response to the recent lawsuit filed by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

The FTC and seven states sued Ticketmaster and parent company Live Nation last month for allegedly “tacitly coordinating with brokers” to harvest tickets and then resell them at inflated prices on the secondary market.
