Manchester Pride owes £1.3 million to artists, venues

After entering liquidation, the UK Pride event has reportedly left Nelly Furtado and Olly Alexander unpaid for their 2025 performances

Nelly Furtado and Olly Alexander are among the performers, suppliers, and venues reportedly owed £1.3 million (€1.5m) from the UK’s Manchester Pride. A new financial report shared with the BBC indicates 182 companies and individuals are owed money after the event’s backing charity went under last month.

Standalone debt amounts range up to £330,000.

Furtado’s independent label, Nelstar Touring Inc, is reportedly owed nearly £146,000 (€165k), according to a report from business restructuring organisation KR8 Advisory. An Alexander-affiliated company is listed…
