Spanish football club Atlético Madrid expects to generate €100 million a year from concerts alone from a proposed 20,000-cap arena next to its Metropolitano Stadium.

The venue, which will require investment of between €225-260m, is set to be managed by Live Nation and Oak View Group and forms the centrepiece of the €800 million Sport City project in partnership with Madrid City Council.
