Release Athens to expand internationally with Bulgarian festival
The "concept and philosophy" of the annual Greek fixture will be brought to Sofia in 2027, with dates and lineup to be announced

Next year will see Release Athens festival expand beyond Greece for the first time with the launch of Release Sofia at Bulgaria’s Sofia Live Park.
Drawing on a decade of experience in the Greek capital, the new edition aims to bring major international acts and local artists together through a large-scale production in the adjacent European market.
