Justin Bieber rakes in $5m in Coachella merch sales

Through his Skylrk brand, the headliner's takings are more than double the previous festival record, which was set across both weekends

Justin Bieber has reportedly set a new bar for merchandise sales at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, selling over $5 million (€4.25m) worth of product through his Skylrk brand.

Vogue Business reports that the brand’s takings are more than double the previous record, which was $1.7m (€1.44m) in sales across both weekends.

Bieber did have an advantage, as his merchandise was sold in a bespoke pop-up shop in addition to the artist merch tent. The Skylrk Shop was located next to the Skylrk Oasis, a relaxing space open to all festival attendees.

Among his merchandise items were a selection of $140 (€119) sweatshirts, a $90 (€76) tank top, $45-55 (€38-47) t-shirts, $40 (€34) bandanas, $30 (€25) hats, and other various options. Plus, those…
