AMC Theatres launches ‘affordable’ live concert business

The Arena One format will offer a bespoke stage for artists to livestream performances directly to cinemas in an interactive experience

In the next era for live concerts at cinemas, US-based cinema giant AMC Theatres has announced a real-time, interactive concert experience through its new venture, Arena One.

The new format will bring fans together across AMC’s 300 US theatres for a one-night-only, simultaneous concert, with artists’ performances livestreamed from a remote, purpose-built stage. It will launch this June, with Bebe Rexha (17 June), Paris Hilton (18 June), Kim Petras (19 June), and Maren Morris (20 June), the first confirmed artists.
