BeatHub unveils name, opening date for Medellín arena

The 17,200-capacity DAVIarena, formerly known as Arena Primavera, will open its doors in November with a show from Colombian rockstar Juanes

Medellín’s newest arena, the 17,200-capacity DAVIarena, will open its doors this year with a concert from Colombian rockstar Juanes.

Formerly known as Arena Primavera, the state-of-the-art building operated by BeatHub Entertainment will formally open its doors on 14 November with a Breakfast Live-promoted concert from the homegrown star.

The venue, which is expected to host over 600,000 guests and 75 events annually, was renamed after an investment of COL$320 billion (€72.6m) from Colombian bank Davivienda earlier this month.
