Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium set for pre-Olympics revamp

The Legends Global-operated venue will undergo modernisation plans, which include Australia's first wraparound LED video screen

Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium has revealed modernisation plans ahead of the city’s 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with the upgrades set to include Australia’s first wraparound LED video screen.

The Legends Global-operated venue, which was opened in 1914 and last renovated in 2003, is set to host a variety of football and rugby matches during the Games.

In addition to the roof-suspended LED screen, the overhaul of the 60,000-capacity rectangular venue will include approximately 1,500 seats, new terrace viewing platforms, entertainment…
