The Square has opened in New York City’s Times Square, offering a new performance platform “built for a digital world” that offers acts 15 minutes in one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Madonna launched the high-tech venue’s official rollout with a surprise performance last week (4 June), in partnership with LGBTQ+ community app Grindr, with the show also livestreamed to users on the platform.
