StubHub named in US class action over ‘deceptive practices’
The news comes days after SEC filings revealed CEO Eric Baker is also managing partner of a seller on the platform

StubHub and its CEO Eric Baker have reportedly been named in a $5 million class action lawsuit for alleged ties to large-scale scalpers, only days after it was revealed Baker is part owner of one such large seller on the ticketing platform.
Filed in New York, the class action reportedly relates to “deceptive practices” alleged by plaintiff Louis Sanquini, whose complaint relates to tickets bought for a KISS concert at Madison Square Garden in 2023, among other sporting events.
