CTS Eventim and Superstruct respond to renewed concerns over industry consolidation

Large, consolidated festival operators and European independent events must co-exist to “strengthen each other”, CTS Eventim has said, in response to renewed policy calls from some of the continent’s industry bodies to address consolidation in the live music business.

The remarks come as CTS Eventim and Superstruct spoke to IQ after a collection of sector bodies said in a statement that increased consolidation risks “greater standardisation, fewer independent voices, and a cultural landscape shaped purely by financial interests”.
