‘World-class’ 10,000-cap arena proposed for Kenyan capital
Pan-African developer The Zaria Group has announced plans for a multi-purpose $295m venue in Nairobi to help bridge the infrastructure gap

In a bid to bridge the infrastructure gap in Kenya, Pan-African developer The Zaria Group has revealed plans for a 10,000-seat, $294.5 million (€256.8m) multipurpose arena in the capital city, Nairobi.
The Zaria Group is leading the project, with support from Dallas Mavericks president Masai Ujiri and investment vehicle Helios Sports & Entertainment. The Group is establishing a local subsidiary, Metroarena Development Company Ltd., to oversee its progress.
