OpenAir St Gallen organisers have delivered their verdict on the 2025 festival, which was crowned by a secret set by the returning Lewis Capaldi.

The Swiss gathering, which ran from 26-29 June, also featured acts such as AnnenMayKantereit, Faber, Chase & Status, Royel Otis, Nemo, Marc Rebillet, Dean Lewis, Kraftklub, Beatsteaks and Kenya Grace.

Christof Huber of Zurich-based promoter Gadget Entertainment tells IQ it was an “extraordinary” edition – attracting 96,000 people over four days – albeit, the 27,500-cap event fell short of extending its three-year sellout streak.

“The feedback from the audience, but also from artists, partners, crew and other stakeholders was very positive,” says Huber, who points to the “fantastic weather conditions, great and surprising shows and productions, as well as a unique atmosphere”.

A standout moment…
