BBC Proms’ Sam Jackson: ‘I want to raise eyebrows’

As the world’s biggest classical music festival gets underway, BBC Proms director Sam Jackson has told IQ about his mission to take the series around the UK. The eight-week season begins today (18 July) and runs until 13 September.
It will feature 86 Proms in total, 72 of which will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
