The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority says it has sent “a clear message to all ticketing websites” after securing commitments from Ticketmaster following its investigation into last year’s Oasis sale.

The watchdog launched an investigation following widespread complaints about the sale for the band’s first shows since 2009 after ticket buyers who had queued for several hours were offered tickets for more than twice the advertised face value.
