Songwriting legends seek answers from UK collection society
PRS for Music says it is "constantly reviewing and improving our policies and processes" in response to a letter from 18 hitmakers

Artists including Paul McCartney, Elton John and Thom Yorke have written to PRS for Music to question the amount of administrative costs incurred by the UK collection society.
The high-profile trio are among 18 songwriters to have signed the letter, seen by Bloomberg, which asks the organisation to clarify why so much money from royalty collections is set aside for business expenses.
