It’s a long way to the top – especially if you’re a loudmouth kid from the provincial Tasmanian town of Launceston. For Michael Chugg, there was no ladder to climb, so he built the scaffolding for Australia’s modern live music industry himself.

Frontier became one of the world’s most respected independent promoters, with Chugg behind the wheel putting shows on the road, mapping itineraries, and solving crises.
