Live Nation’s Rapino faces grilling in antitrust trial

President and CEO of Live Nation offered a robust defence of the company during a day of questioning in the New York-based monopoly case

Live Nation President and CEO Michael Rapino took the stand in the blockbuster Live Nation antitrust trial in New York yesterday and offered up a robust defence of his company’s place in the live music ecosystem.

Under sustained questioning from the attorney representing the US states pursuing the action, Jeffrey Kessler, Mr Rapino said he was “very proud” of the company he has helped build.
