Jury begins deliberations in Live Nation trial
Closing arguments were made yesterday as more than 30 US states push to break up the live entertainment giant

The blockbuster Live Nation trial came to a close in New York yesterday, with the prosecution saying that the entertainment giant, and its ticketing arm Ticketmaster, had “violated antitrust laws and it is time to hold them accountable”.
The jury are due to begin deliberations today (10 April), with the civil trial rules meaning that jurors are asked to judge ‘by a preponderance of the evidence’ whether the two businesses had abused monopoly power.
